BNU Partner teaches IP law at New Era University

Attorney Jon Perez started teaching Intellectual Property Law at the College of Law of the New Era University this academic school year of 2010-2011. Jon Perez joined BNU in 2003. In 2008, he qualified for the Patent Agents Qualifying Examinations (PAQE) after going through the rigid Chemistry for Lawyers program conducted by the Intellectual Property Office. He was admitted to the BNU partnership in 2009. Jon Perez is the third member of BNU to teach IP law. Ferdi Negre started teaching IP law in 1999 at the Law School of Ateneo de Manila University while Anton Bengzon started teaching IP law in 2008 in the Joint JD-MBA program of the De La Salle University and Far Eastern University. All three partners regularly give lectures on IP law in seminars, workshops and other fora as part of the BNU professional development program.
